Judy needs a fan for her upstairs classroom.\u00a0 We also need a few groceries, but most can wait till I make my Metro trip on Monday.\u00a0 I haven\u2019t checked Carrefour for a fan yet, and I know they had them last fall, so we head down the street.\u00a0 Carrefour is a really big store with lots of imports aimed at western expats (that us).\u00a0 It\u2019s also a little more expensive than Metro, so it\u2019s not one of my regular stops.<\/p>\n

As we\u2019re walking (about \u00bd mile), Judy reminds me she\u2019s never been inside.\u00a0 I hadn\u2019t even realized it.\u00a0 We get inside and sure enough, there are no fans.\u00a0 We take a tour of the rest of the store (two floors), getting the items we need and then head to checkout.\u00a0 Usually there are long lines, but we\u2019re early enough that it\u2019s not too bad.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spring is popping out!<\/p><\/div>\n

Back home, we snack a little (yeah, never go the store when you\u2019re hungry), and watch a few \u201cLost\u201d episodes.\u00a0 We\u2019re pretty far into the 2<\/span>nd<\/sup> season.\u00a0 Judy\u2019s been trying to get a package (non-prescription meds, etc.) delivered from Courtney.\u00a0 We had to complete three forms to clear customs.\u00a0 Now we\u2019ve been told they couldn\u2019t read them, so please submit them again.\u00a0 This is a lot of trouble for one little box.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
