{"id":124,"date":"2013-06-16T10:29:26","date_gmt":"2013-06-16T03:29:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gordonandjudy.com\/?p=124"},"modified":"2013-08-11T10:49:14","modified_gmt":"2013-08-11T03:49:14","slug":"finally-summer-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gordonandjudy.com\/?p=124","title":{"rendered":"Last Day At Beckham  (Judy)   6\/9\/13"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<dl id=\"attachment_98\">\n<dt><a href=\"http:\/\/gordonandjudy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Beckham.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Last day at Beckham Elementary\" src=\"http:\/\/gordonandjudy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Beckham-300x298.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"298\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dd><strong>Last day at Beckham Elementary<\/strong><\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<p>School is out and we have officially retired from teaching in Texas.\u00a0 It was mentally and physically exhausting to close out our classrooms and say goodbye to colleagues, and for me very sad.\u00a0 Beckham Elementary has been my home for a long time and I will miss seeing my friends. \u00a0I couldn&#8217;t believe I was walking out of the music room for the last time!<\/p>\n<p>We are both relieved to have a small break from school duties, but there is still a lot to do to get ready for our move.\u00a0 Getting the proper visas involves quite a bit of paperwork, but our schools in China are helping us with it.\u00a0 There are also lessons to prepare and training to attend.\u00a0 In spite of all that, we plan to relax and enjoy living in downtown Ft.
