<\/a>One of the 14 Rolls Royce “shuttles” in the fleet of the Peninsula Hotel.<\/p><\/div>\n
It\u2019s a very formal tea, with fancy cakes, etc. and some exclusive teas.\u00a0 We enjoy ourselves, as well as watching the hotel activities.\u00a0 The Peninsula has a fleet of 14 Rolls Royce limos, painted \u201cPeninsula\u201d green.\u00a0 Cars are pulling up and loading and unloading guests all afternoon.\u00a0 This is a great way to kill the afternoon.<\/p>\n Walking around the streets of Kowloon<\/p><\/div>\n The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center<\/p><\/div>\n The ICC building. Dinner on the 102nd floor tonight.<\/p><\/div>\n Hong Kong Skyline from the harbor<\/p><\/div>\n We walk around Kowloon, getting a feel for the streets and the activity. \u00a0One of the “side tours” is the Star Ferry Harbor Tour. \u00a0There are some great views. \u00a0Our dinner tonight is at Tosca, in the ICC building, the tallest skyscraper in Hong Kong.\u00a0 We head over early hoping to visit the Sky Tower, a viewing area on the 100th<\/sup> floor.\u00a0 It\u2019s really scenic, although the clouds are close to fogging us in.\u00a0 After an hour of viewing, we head back down, looking for our restaurant.\u00a0 We find the entrance for the Ritz Carlton Hotel and our restaurant, but it only leads to an elevator bay.\u00a0 We\u2019re loaded onto a high-speed elevator back to the top and the 103rd<\/sup> floor.\u00a0 We unload into a reception area and desk for the hotel, ON THE 103RD<\/sup> FLOOR!\u00a0 This is really high!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The view from the 100th floor of the ICC.<\/p><\/div>\n Tosca is down an escalator on the 102nd<\/sup> floor.\u00a0 It\u2019s what could safely be called \u201cfine dining\u201d.\u00a0 We enjoy our dinner and the view.\u00a0 It\u2019s an unbelievable setting for a meal, and a highlight for our Hong Kong trip.<\/p>\n Brussels Sprouts<\/p><\/div>\n Roasted guinea fowl.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We begin our Day 2 of Hong Kong touring boarding the Star Ferry to cross the harbor.\u00a0 Our Big Bus tour today begins in Kowloon, on the other side.\u00a0 It\u2019s raining today, but we can see enough to be impressed.\u00a0 … Continue reading <\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/a><\/a>
