Today is going to be a \u201ccatch-up\u201d day.\u00a0 Judy has lots of class planning to do.\u00a0 There is a grade report coming up, and that always requires posting comments on each student\u2019s \u201cwiki\u201d (individual internet site).\u00a0 For someone like Judy, who\u2019s teaching Pre-K through grade 8, that\u2019s a lot of kids, and a lot of individual comments.<\/p>\n
For me, I have a lot of blog writing to do.\u00a0 I really haven\u2019t written since March 27.\u00a0 That\u2019s over a week of activities.\u00a0 Also our iPhoto needs to be organized with all our new pictures from Hong Kong.\u00a0 I have to make sure all our photos are downloaded from my phone, Judy\u2019s phone, the iPad, and we also used our small digital Canon camera.\u00a0 Then I need to get them into one \u201cevent\u201d, and start getting rid of duplicates and the bad photos.\u00a0 It a fun job, but it sure takes a lot of time.\u00a0 When I\u2019m finished with them, I want to be able to access them quickly, be able to tell what day the pictures were taken, and where we were when the photo was taken.<\/span><\/p>\n Later in the afternoon we go to a market we haven\u2019t visited since the first week we were in Beijing.\u00a0 When we visited the first time, we were overwhelmed with the move, and couldn\u2019t take it all in.\u00a0 There are lots of fruits, vegetable, nuts, and meats, as well as seafood.\u00a0 It requires a short taxi ride, or a long walk, and wasn\u2019t convenient, when there were closer markets we could access.\u00a0 We buy some really nice fruit and nuts.\u00a0 Unfortunately, we also found a bakery, so we came home with a large loaf of fresh bread, some cookies, and a couple of croissants.\u00a0 It tastes great, but not so helpful on our weight-loss program.\u00a0 Oh well.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Today is going to be a \u201ccatch-up\u201d day.\u00a0 Judy has lots of class planning to do.\u00a0 There is a grade report coming up, and that always requires posting comments on each student\u2019s \u201cwiki\u201d (individual internet site).\u00a0 For someone like Judy, … Continue reading
