Judy heads out for a new week of Professional Development with the full BISS staff.\u00a0 Everyone is there, about 50 people.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll hear more from her about it all.\u00a0 The staff is from everywhere.\u00a0 Lots of unusual accents when everyone gets together.<\/p>\n

I take care of some financial stuff and a few emails.\u00a0 I\u2019m mostly killing time, waiting for the medical report to arrive at BISS.\u00a0 When it arrives, I\u2019ll pick it up and head over to my school so they can take care of the \u201cForeign Expert Certificate\u201d and later the Residential Permit.<\/p>\n

Around 3:00, I decide to go to BISS to await delivery.\u00a0 DHL delivers around 4:00.\u00a0 I make contact with BHSFIC staff and I\u2019m off to deliver the paperwork.\u00a0 I arrive at the designated subway station, and a few minutes later my escort, Amy Song, arrives.\u00a0 We walk to the BHSF main campus.\u00a0 I just now realize the International School has it\u2019s own campus, but main administrative offices are at the main campus.\u00a0 I leave my passport, Temporary Residental Permit, and Medical Report, and head back to the subway, relieved the delivery has been made.<\/p>\n

Before I can get to the station, Amy calls to tell me that I have given them Judy\u2019s passport.\u00a0 A quick call verifies that Judy has mine.\u00a0 I\u2019M AN IDIOT!!!!\u00a0 Guess I\u2019ll get to tour the subways some more tomorrow.\u00a0 The paperwork has to get started Tuesday or I\u2019ll miss a very important deadline.\u00a0 I explore a new route home on the subway and arrive around 7:30 pm.\u00a0 The subway means lots of standing and walking when changing trains.\u00a0 I\u2019m going to be in much better shape before I leave China.\u00a0 Judy\u2019s home and we swap stories of the day and then zonk out!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
