It\u2019s a beautiful day when we get up.\u00a0 The sky is blue, and we can see as far as we\u2019ve ever been able to see.\u00a0 The humidity is down, and it feels good outside.<\/p>\n

A clear Beijing morning<\/p><\/div>\n

I think Judy is beginning to get ahead at school.\u00a0 She\u2019s found the time to start thinking about decorating the apartment a little bit.\u00a0 We check in with family back home on Facetime, and head out to IKEA around noon.\u00a0 Sunday in IKEA!\u00a0 Can it get much better?<\/p>\n

We pick up a few couch pillows and a bedspread and pillows for our 2nd<\/sup> bedroom.\u00a0 The apartment is actually beginning to look a little like a home, and certainly more comfortable than it was.\u00a0 Still need a few rugs.\u00a0 IKEA didn\u2019t really have what we needed, so we\u2019ll be looking for other sources.\u00a0 We order in Italian food from Annie\u2019s, a well-known restaurant in Beijing (among the westerners).\u00a0 It\u2019s really good.\u00a0 The phone # is going on my \u201cfavorites\u201d list.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
