We began to come alive a little today.\u00a0 <\/span>We\u2019re leaving tomorrow, going back to Beijing.\u00a0 <\/span>We have a flight to Barcelona Tuesday, and Judy begins to organize our packing, thinking ahead to our packing in Beijing for the cruise.<\/p>\n

I have a more serious job.\u00a0 <\/span>I have to find a Starbucks so I can pick up a \u201cKoh Samui City Mug\u201d, to add to my collection.\u00a0 <\/span>We\u2019ll be going to the airport too early tomorrow morning.\u00a0 <\/span>Neither of the two stores will be open at that time.\u00a0 <\/span>I get dropped off from the hotel shuttle at a mall area in the city.\u00a0 <\/span>I walked back up the road to where I had seen a sign, hoping it was open (the Starbucks app says one of them is no longer open).\u00a0 <\/span>I don\u2019t know the city well enough to really know where I am.<\/p>\n

I found the store and it was open.\u00a0 <\/span>Unfortunately, they don\u2019t make the \u201cKoh Samui\u201d mug.\u00a0 <\/span>There are several other cities in Thailand with their own mug, but not Koh Samui.\u00a0 <\/span>I had to settle for a Thailand mug in the same style.\u00a0 <\/span>The real problem with buying these mugs when we\u2019re traveling is their size and weight.\u00a0 <\/span>I can usually fit one or two somewhere in our stuff, but with our current trip and a cruise, there\u2019s the potential for a 10-12 cups, almost an entire suitcase if I pack them in their boxes.<\/p>\n

I had a Mocha Frappucino, while I was there, in the interest of comparing Mocha Frappucinos in Starbucks around the world.\u00a0 <\/span>It measured up pretty well against the Beijing version.\u00a0 <\/span>There was an outside patio area on a busy back street, with lots of little shops allowing for some interesting people watching.\u00a0 <\/span>There were some real characters out on the street.\u00a0 <\/span>I don\u2019t remember seeing so many \u201cbuffed out\u201d muscular guys outside of a gym.\u00a0 <\/span>They were everywhere.\u00a0 <\/span>There are \u201cThai Massage\u201d shops everywhere, two or three in each block.\u00a0 <\/span>Who needs all these massages?<\/p>\n

Back at the hotel, a storm was blowing in across the water.\u00a0 <\/span>We enjoyed watching the rain as we packed for our flights tomorrow.<\/p>\n
