I had a very productive day here in the apartment.\u00a0 I began to settle on a direction for my classes this week.\u00a0 Whew!\u00a0 I\u2019ve been waiting for some inspiration, and it is finally coming.\u00a0 It may be related to the Thursday class deadline, but I don\u2019t care.\u00a0 I\u2019ll take \u201cinspiration\u201d any way I can get it.<\/p>\n
Judy successfully paid some money on our electric card.\u00a0 She had no problems, and we\u2019re set-up for at least another month.\u00a0 As best I can tell, we spent about $100 in August on electricity.<\/p>\n
She was able to get the iPod Touch set up with English (we couldn\u2019t figure it out last night) with the help of the IT dept.\u00a0 She had time to get synced with her computer, and her classes were much smoother today.\u00a0 She was able to quickly get the music playing without moving from one program to another on the computer.<\/p>\n
\u201cChina Way Moving\u201d met with Judy at school at the end of the day.\u00a0 They let us know that our main shipment would arrive in Tinjing, on the coast, on Friday, Sept. 9.\u00a0 Then it is held there in storage while it clears customs for 21 days.\u00a0 We should have our \u201cstuff\u201d sometime after Oct. 1.\u00a0 It left our apartment in Ft. Worth on July 19.\u00a0 We\u2019ve been living out of our suitcases (check the blog on July 25 for pix) for almost two months.\u00a0 It\u2019s not quite camping, but there are things we\u2019ve been waiting for.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
