I\u2019m up early and over to BHSFIC to find the iPad. It\u2019s right where I left it, so I turn around and head back home, relieved to have it back.\u00a0 Total time on the trip is two hours.\u00a0 The subway crowds are light.\u00a0 When I get home, Judy is working on power points for classes after the holidays.\u00a0 Her classes don\u2019t meet everyday so there isn\u2019t any time to waste.\u00a0 Also, she\u2019s going out on the road for 4 days with the second graders for \u201cBISS on the Road\u201d.\u00a0 Lots of sub plans to get ready.<\/p>\n
The rest of our day is spent organizing our stuff for the cruise.\u00a0 It\u2019s our first trip into the interior of China.\u00a0 We won\u2019t have access to a translator.\u00a0 We\u2019ll be on our own.\u00a0 Here\u2019s hoping we\u2019re able to get where we\u2019re supposed to be at the right time.\u00a0 I\u2019m worried about the possible crowds at the Beijing airport on the first day of the National Holiday.\u00a0 I\u2019m worried what we\u2019ll find in Chongqing when we get off the plane.\u00a0 I\u2019m actually looking forward to the challenge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
