FRIDAY, 10\/11\/13<\/b><\/p>\n

Friday is \u201cAssembly Day\u201d at BISS.\u00a0 All the elementary classes present the iMovie of their \u201con the road\u201d adventures.\u00a0 They spend the morning putting it together, and then everyone presents at the assembly.\u00a0 Judy says they\u2019re really cute, and all but grades 1&2 create their own iMovie.\u00a0 After school, Judy has musical rehearsal at the end of school, so her day runs pretty long.<\/p>\n

Check out the window washers, about halfway up the building. No scaffolding,<\/p><\/div>\n

My day is finished by 12:30. I have two classes, lunch, and then guitar club, and it\u2019s back to the apartment for me.\u00a0 I catch up on a few loose ends, and then take a really long nap.\u00a0 This is a rough life!\u00a0 Judy comes home and we plan for the weekend.<\/p>\n

SATURDAY, 10\/12\/13<\/b><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t believe it, but we\u2019re going to Ikea.\u00a0 There\u2019s no way all our stuff is going to fit in the current storage areas we have.\u00a0 We\u2019re going to have to buy some shelving and wire drawers to get everything put away.\u00a0 Saturday is different than the Sundays we\u2019ve visited Ikea.\u00a0 The crowd isn\u2019t too bad.\u00a0 We arrive early, and find everything we need.\u00a0 We schedule shipping for tomorrow, and they\u2019ll assemble as well.\u00a0 It\u2019s a relief to know I won\u2019t have to be crawling around on the floor, reading assembly instructions in Chinese.<\/p>\n

The rest of the day is spent putting things away and preparing for our delivery tomorrow.\u00a0 I finish up with a walk over to the grocery for some essentials, and a stop by KFC on the way home.\u00a0 It\u2019s a really good \u201cspicy chicken sandwich\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
