I head over to BHSFIC, looking forward to the day.\u00a0 I get to teach the music class, but the after-school club (orchestra) won\u2019t meet today, due to college recruiter visits after school.\u00a0 All students meet in the auditorium, and a team of college recruiters take turns speaking to the group.\u00a0 These are very important meetings for the students.\u00a0 I listen in for little while, curious what the recruiters consider as the \u201cdraw\u201d for their school.<\/p>\n
The BISS faculty has an interesting game going on.\u00a0 They call it “Clue”.\u00a0 Each teacher that wants to participate gets another teacher\u2019s name, a location in the school, and a readily available item (projector remote, etc.)\u00a0 The players have to get their target into the designated location, and touch them with the assigned item.\u00a0 Judy nailed her first target (Daijie \/in the technology office\/ with the tape dispenser).\u00a0 When you \u201ckill\u201d your target, they give you their assigned target, and the game continues narrowing down.<\/span><\/p>\n She dodged her own \u201cdeath\u201d, when she got a message to go to the nurse\u2019s office.\u00a0 She went to the office, but didn\u2019t go in, when she noticed another teacher sitting in the room with a stapler in his hand.\u00a0 Now all she has to do is never go into to the nurse\u2019s office and she should be ok.\u00a0 She\u2019s working on her strategy for her next target.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I head over to BHSFIC, looking forward to the day.\u00a0 I get to teach the music class, but the after-school club (orchestra) won\u2019t meet today, due to college recruiter visits after school.\u00a0 All students meet in the auditorium, and a … Continue reading
