The \u201cgirls\u201d are getting together today for a brunch at Solana Mall.\u00a0 They\u2019re meeting at \u201cCocoa and Vanilla.\u201d\u00a0 About 14 people show up.\u00a0 They have a great time.<\/p>\n

I manage to kill some time at my own brunch.\u00a0 I traveled with Judy to the mall.\u00a0 We plan to do a little shopping after the meal.\u00a0 I end up at \u201cCabare\u201d, where we ate a couple of weeks ago.\u00a0 It\u2019s too cold to sit out by the water (40s), so I find a comfortable table near a window with a warming sun.\u00a0 I\u2019m gonna \u201cveg\u201d out.\u00a0 Food and a magazine is all I need for a few hours.\u00a0 There was some kind of a photo shoot going on right outside my window, which kept me interested.\u00a0 There were two male models and lots of helpers scurrying everywhere with make-up, hair spray, clothes, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now this is a Brunch!<\/p><\/div>\n

We meet up after brunch and find the store we were looking for.\u00a0 With the onset of winter, we needed a comforter for the bed.\u00a0 We\u2019re thinking a sheet and bedspread might not be enough.\u00a0 The comforter needs some accessorization (of course).\u00a0 Now we need a fitted sheet to match, as well as some pillows, and pillowcases.\u00a0 We\u2019re gonna be looking pretty snazzy around the house.\u00a0 Judy also found some sweaters at The Gap.<\/span><\/p>\n

The shopping at Solana Mall is really fun.\u00a0 There\u2019s great food, and shopping.\u00a0 The biggest concern for me is that we\u2019ve discovered how to use our bank cards as debit cards.\u00a0 It was easy not to spend money when we had to have cash for everything, and couldn\u2019t find a relaxing place to shop.\u00a0 Finding a fun and comfortable place to shop, with easy access to our money may prove problematic.<\/p>\n

Back home, we sort out our packages.\u00a0 I trek over to Metro for some groceries.\u00a0 We were beginning to get a little behind on some of the necessities.\u00a0 The check-out lines are really long, so it\u2019s a frustrating visit, but we\u2019re stocked for the week.\u00a0 Tomorrow is Parent\/Teacher conferences at BHSFIC.\u00a0 I have to leave early enough to be on campus by 8:00 am.\u00a0 Man, it\u2019s beginning to feel like a job.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
