Judy, the newly crowned \u201cClue Queen,\u201d heads off to school fully loaded.\u00a0 She has her school bags, computer, etc., as well as her suitcase for the trip to Shanghai.\u00a0 She actually gets away a few minutes earlier than usual.<\/p>\n
The trains are really crowded.\u00a0 Sometimes all you can do is grin.\u00a0 I\u2019m tall enough that my head is above the fray.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know how the shorter people do it on these really crowded days.\u00a0 When the train door opens, there\u2019s a short break from the crush, usually followed by \u201csardine packing\u201d, as people cram into the doors, not wanting to wait for the next crowded train.\u00a0 When the doors close, people start jockeying for position so they can exit at the next stop, or they\u2019re moving away from the doors so they don\u2019t get swept out when it opens at the next station.\u00a0 There\u2019s some really good bumping when you\u2019re near a door and people are trying to get by.<\/span><\/p>\n I get back to the apartment around 1:30, and promptly take a nap.\u00a0 When I wake up, I start planning the weekend and going through some loose ends on my emails.\u00a0\u00a0 There\u2019s a new update\/upgrade for \u201ciBank,\u201d the software program I use for all our banking, etc.\u00a0 I\u2019m feeling brave so I \u201cgo for it.\u201d \u00a0Everything loads smoothly and all the info moves smoothly from my older iBank program.\u00a0 I close it down, and that\u2019s when the problem starts.\u00a0 The file won\u2019t save?\u00a0 Huh?\u00a0 I try several things, but no luck.\u00a0 My only option is to wait until 10:00 pm, when the online chat line opens.\u00a0 Fortunately, the tech help is quick and successful.\u00a0 The program opens, and closes (also saving) easily.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Judy calls and checks in.\u00a0 They arrived and enjoyed a scenic drive from the airport into the city.\u00a0 The hotel is nice, and she\u2019s looking forward to a relaxing weekend, with no threats from a \u201cClue\u201d killer.\u00a0 I believe it\u2019s bedtime!\u00a0 It\u2019s a big day tomorrow for me with the faculty dinner at BHSFIC.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Judy, the newly crowned \u201cClue Queen,\u201d heads off to school fully loaded.\u00a0 She has her school bags, computer, etc., as well as her suitcase for the trip to Shanghai.\u00a0 She actually gets away a few minutes earlier than usual.
