My day is uneventful.\u00a0 I get up around 6:00 am, do my stretches and exercises, and eat breakfast.\u00a0 I spend a little time writing on the blog before I walk the mile over to Metro for my weekly grocery stop.\u00a0 When I get back, I spend some prep time for my classes this week, and Judy arrives home a little later.<\/p>\n
Her day was less satisfying.\u00a0 She has a program Friday.\u00a0 Her choir is singing at a Renaissance Hotel Christmas Tree Lighting.\u00a0 The choir is prepared and the kids are working hard.\u00a0 Judy\u2019s frustration is with the bus request system.\u00a0 She\u2019s been working on it for over a week now, and it\u2019s still not resolved.\u00a0 As with everything else she does, she reads the instructions, completes the paperwork, turns it in, and waits for verification.\u00a0 Then she gets the usual:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Why did you use that form?\u00a0 That\u2019s the wrong form.<\/p>\n Why did you send it to him\/her?<\/p>\n Do you have your account number?<\/p>\n Do you really need 2 buses?<\/p>\n We\u2019ve changed to another form.<\/p>\n The money should come from another budget!<\/p>\n Etc., Etc., Etc.<\/p>\n She\u2019s been in several offices multiple times trying to get it right, and keeps getting the run-around.\u00a0 None of the written instructions are correct.\u00a0 No one will take the \u201cbull by the horns\u201d, and solve it.\u00a0 They just keep sending her in circles.\u00a0 Then, when the paperwork is completed and awaiting final approval, it sits on someone\u2019s desk for 2 or 3 days?\u00a0 She\u2019s not a happy camper tonight!\u00a0 How can such a small school have so much red tape?<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" My day is uneventful.\u00a0 I get up around 6:00 am, do my stretches and exercises, and eat breakfast.\u00a0 I spend a little time writing on the blog before I walk the mile over to Metro for my weekly grocery stop.\u00a0 … Continue reading
