The weekend is here and we\u2019re headed to IKEA.\u00a0 We\u2019ve decided to get some new curtains, and a different cover for our sofa.\u00a0 We\u2019re there when they open and ahead of the crowds.\u00a0 It takes a while to find what we need, but we make it out of the store by 11:30.<\/p>\n

Back at the apartment we sort out a few things, then head out again for Solana Mall.\u00a0 Judy needs a full length \u201cpuffer\u201d jacket (down coat).\u00a0 She spends time everyday outside with a 15-minute recess group.\u00a0 They haven\u2019t missed many days outside, yet, and we know the cold weather is coming.\u00a0 We find some great jackets and they\u2019re on sale for half-price at Uni-Qlo.\u00a0 We follow up the shopping with a great pizza at Tube Station Pizza.\u00a0 I\u2019ve posted some pictures of the Solana Chinese New Year decorations below.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even our apartment is beginning to decorate for the New Year.<\/p><\/div>\n

Back home, the rest of the afternoon and evening is spent taking down the old curtains, and putting up the new ones.\u00a0 If you\u2019ve done it, you know it can take time getting it right.\u00a0 When I get to bed around midnight, Judy is washing some recorders, getting ready for classes next week.\u00a0 It\u2019s been a long but fulfilling day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
